Ways to donate
Make a donation
Surf Life Saving is a community-funded movement that relies on the donations of people like you to ensure our volunteer surf lifesavers have the training and equipment needed to keep our beaches safe. Donating to Surf Life Saving ensures our lifesavers are rescue ready at a moment’s notice.
Your donation can help provide rescue gear and equipment, train lifesavers, run community education programs and much more. Surf Lifesaving equipment is constantly exposed to harsh Australian beach conditions and must be kept up to date to ensure optimal performance when it counts.
Golden Club
Help the next generation of Surf Life Savers reach their full potential, by making an impact that you can see today.
We’re seeking your help to fund specific learning and development programs for our members, in targeted and constructive ways. It’s your opportunity to see the impact that a donation can make, for the movement that’s played a huge part of your life.
Bequests
Do you want to leave a legacy after you’ve gone? Deciding to leave a gift for Surf Life Saving in your will is one of the most incredible acts possible. This act of generosity will help save many people’s lives on our beaches for years to come. There are many ways to leave a bequest to Surf Life Saving in your will, and it is important to make your intentions clear. We recommend seeking professional assistance when preparing or updating your will.
Guardians of the Surf
Become a Guardian of the Surf by making monthly contributions. Ongoing donations help us ensure we have sustainable and regular funding to train new lifesavers, keep current lifesavers up to date on their training and repair and replace equipment regularly. A Guardian of the Surf is a special kind of donor; they are the silent heroes behind every life saved.
Workplace Giving
Workplace Giving is simple, and it reduces the amount of tax you pay each year. When you and your workplace choose to donate to Surf Life Saving via Workplace Giving, your donation is automatically deducted every pay from your pre-tax income. There’s no need to keep records for tax time, your employer will look after all the paperwork at the end of the financial year. You can see your donation at work every time you see the red and yellow flags.
