Surf Life Saving SA, is one of Australia's oldest and most prominent brands. With one foot firmly planted in the interests of maintaining traditions, and the other invested in development, this institution continues to impress its patrons.
Surf Life Saving SA is responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of surf life saving throughout South Australia and has the responsibility for servicing its 9,000 members and 21 clubs.
Reporting to the CEO, the Surf Sports Manager is responsible for the growth, innovation, sustainability and development of surf sports in South Australia. The Surf Sports Manager is responsible for the overall strategy formulation, management, development and promotion of events and programs for athletes, coaches and officials as well as pre-season, carnival and championship events across a range of disciplines. This role will also have responsibility for the SLSSA development program for emerging athletes.
