Surf Club Open Day - Our Doors Are Open
On Saturday 8 October 2016 South Australia's Surf Clubs will open their doors and invite their local communities to learn more about our movement and everyone is welcome.
People think that Surf Life Saving is just about patrolling the beach. However your local Surf Life Saving Club plays a much bigger role in your local community than you might think.
Surf Life Saving Clubs across the state will host a number of activities including:
- Lifesaving demonstrations
- Clubhouse tours
- Barbecues
- Rescue equipment displays
- Kids’ activities
Come and Try
Our Clubs will also offer people the chance to try out a range of beach activities and rescue scenarios first hand to give them a genuine feel for the challenges and excitement of surf lifesaving.
